Andrew Manongdo is a filmmaker whose work transcends the boundaries of animation and live-action, merging the magic of classic storytelling with the innovation of modern technology. A Magna Cum Laude graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Animation and Visual Effects from The Los Angeles Film School, Andrew's academic journey laid the foundation for his multifaceted approach to filmmaking.
In 2020 and 2021, Andrew enriched his craft as a participant in the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World Resort, contributing to iconic locations such as Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café and events like the Food and Wine Festival. These experiences deepened his appreciation for storytelling and the art of creating immersive experiences.
Drawing inspiration from Disney classics and '80s/'90s animations, Andrew combines traditional storytelling with modern 3D techniques to create compelling narratives. His work aspires to inspire audiences and fellow creators, aiming to leave a lasting impact on the cinematic landscape.
Beyond his technical expertise, Andrew is a visionary storyteller, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of cinema and shaping the future of storytelling.
My Story
🌟 Act I: The Spark
In the dim glow of a Blockbuster Video store, a young dreamer stood before towering shelves of VHS tapes. Among them, Toy Story gleamed—a groundbreaking film that would ignite a lifelong passion. Alongside it, classics like The Wizard of Oz, Titanic, and Apollo 13 offered windows into worlds of imagination and possibility. These films weren't just entertainment; they were blueprints for a future yet to be realized.
🏰 Act II: The Magic Kingdom
In 2020, Andrew joined the Disney College Program working at the iconic Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café in the in the epitome of Walt Disney Worlds the Magic Kingdom. Amidst the enchantment of the park, the world was struck by a global pandemic. Instead of dimming his aspirations, this challenge fueled his resolve. He returned home, dedicating himself to mastering the art of Animation, Directing and more importantly overall Storytelling, transforming adversity into opportunity.

On May 2, 2025 Andrew graduated The Los Angeles Film School with Magna Cum Laude honors, he stands at the threshold of his cinematic journey. Not just an animator, but a director and storyteller, he crafts narratives that resonate with the soul. His work is a testament to the power of imagination, perseverance, and the belief that stories have the power to change the world.
